Suspicious Person Report

Triage questions

1. What is the person doing that is suspicious?
2. Where exactly are they? (main entrance, garage, specific floor)
3. Physical description (gender, approximate age, clothing, distinguishing features)
4. How long have they been there?
5. Any direct interaction with the caller?

Classification

• Observing / photographing / testing doors → SEV 3, dispatch security patrol
• Following a resident → SEV 2, escalate immediately
• Visibly intoxicated / aggressive → SEV 2
• Known resident in a non-standard area → verify via property manager, SEV 4

Caller instructions

• Do not confront.
• Maintain distance and remain in sight of other people where possible.
• Describe the suspect's current location in real time while dispatcher is en route.
